Birthday Party on the Green

This mural was painted to mark the centenary of the Becontree Estate in 2021 and can be found at the Blackborne Road entrance to Dagenham Heathway shopping centre.

This work forms part of Becontree Forever, a programme of art , architecture, and new infastructure to mark 100 years of the Becontree Estate in 2021.

A special thank you to all the local residents who submitted photographs as part of this project and the staff at Dagenham Heathway shopping centre who helped facilitate the work.
